2. Description of the Service

Filero provides free, browser-based tools for processing PDF files, images, and documents, including conversion, compression, editing, signing, and generation of business documents. The Service is provided free of charge and does not require account registration.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these terms. You must not use the Service to:

• Upload, process, or distribute files that contain unlawful, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent content
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
• Infringe the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other legal rights of any person
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its underlying infrastructure
• Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to access or use the Service in ways that create excessive load
• Misrepresent the source or ownership of any file you process through the Service

4. File processing and privacy

Most Filero tools process files entirely within your browser. No file data is transmitted to our servers. For tools that require server-side processing, files are transmitted over encrypted connections, processed immediately, and deleted from our servers as soon as the output is ready for download.

We do not store, retain, share, or use any content from files you upload or process through the Service. You retain full ownership of any files you process using the Service.

5. Intellectual property

You are responsible for ensuring that any files you upload or process through the Service are files you own, have permission to use, or have the legal right to process in the way you intend. Do not use the Service to process copyrighted material you do not have the right to reproduce or modify.

The Filero name, logo, website design, and underlying software are the property of the Service operator. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without prior written permission.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce results that meet your specific requirements.

While we make every reasonable effort to ensure accuracy and reliability, file conversion and processing tools may occasionally produce imperfect results depending on the source file format, complexity, and quality. We recommend reviewing all processed files before relying on them for important purposes.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Filero and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or business interruption.

Because the Service is free to use, we make no guarantee of continued availability, accuracy, or suitability for any particular purpose.

8. Third-party services

The Service uses third-party providers including Google Analytics for usage analytics, Groq for AI-powered text processing, and Railway.app for server-side file processing. Your use of the Service is also subject to the applicable terms and privacy policies of these providers.

We are not responsible for the practices or content of any third-party services linked to or integrated with Filero.

9. Advertising

The Service is supported by display advertising. Advertisements are served by third-party ad networks and are subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control the content of third-party advertisements.

10. Changes to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
